Artists

Meet the East Bay P.D. Artists!

Casey Fay

Our featured artist this month is the great Casey Fay!

Casey Fay is an artist who specializes in fanciful beasties and colorful underwater creatures. He particularly enjoys creating interesting environs for said wee beasties to frolic and cavort in. Upon first glance at one of his pieces you might notice a particular individual that catches your attention but look closer, is that a cupcake fish swimming there in the background? Is that a squishy squirm squid poking it's head out of the coral? What other hidden treasures can you find? Basically he considers a piece a success if it captures even remotely the sense of amazement that he gets from viewing real life sea creatures. And he sincerely hopes that his work makes you laugh and/or smile. To find out more about Casey head to www.faydirgle.com

Allyson O'Brien

Allyson is a hard-headed, soft-hearted mermaid from the Atlantic. Allyson is from Massachusetts and likes wood-carving and all forms of art. She enjoys collecting—rocks, stones and bones. She is a lover of soul music, bare feet on fresh cut grass and festivals. Allyson designed our "Green Bill" shirt.

Doug IeFresh

Doug recently moved to Oakland, California from the east coast and loves it here. He is a truly different kind of artist, preferring embroidery and mixed media art. Doug creates wearable art by hand and has no problem carrying his art form over to canvas and loves experimentation in all arts forms. He is addicted to tattoos, music and the culture behind everyone.

Faul Prank

Faul is one of the most original artists we have ever met. Living in Richmond, California, Faul enjoys the most basic of art forms like pen, pencil and marker, and he insists upon creating great art no matter what medium he is working with.

He enjoys children, girls named Heather and the 2.5 seconds of free time he gets once a week. Faul is one of the most dedicated artists on the Bay Area art scene and would do anything to keep it progressing forward. He will always be one of our favorite artists.

Anemal

Anemal is a professional artist and street designer who enjoys his anonymity.

Ofel

There was a man/thing discovered inside a deep cave located in Death Valley, California; there is no exact recollection of what exact planet he was teleported from, but it seems to have traces and clues leading back to Planet X. He has brought his mechanical felt-tipped arm with him to the bay area and it has given him a great advantage, although the human scientific studies and cat scans have shown natural hallucenigens located on the outer caps of his brain; meaning if you were to consume a small or even microscopic particle a psychodellic journey would take place. This created a whole new era in the graffiti/art world, as monsters and beings were now coming to life and climbing their way out of the wall or designated canvas. The mystery is still left unsolved and only remnants of scattered blurry footage are left to prove their existence.

Please take a moment to browse the original works we have to offer from these great artists.
